What does it cost?
No setup fee and no website build fee: your website is designed, built and launched as part of your plan, with the back office included. Plans are £179, £279 or £449 a month depending on how many cars you carry and how many detailed vehicle lookups come with them. Vehicle history checks and valuations are not in the monthly: they are pay as you go, bought inside your dashboard. No tier holds a feature back. The workshop is £99 a month on any tier, and its own website is built free. The monthly starts when your site goes live, with a minimum term of twelve months. No VAT is charged.
Can I feed my stock to Auto Trader, eBay and the other portals?
Auto Trader works through your own Auto Trader account, once Auto Trader has approved the connection. We set it up with you; how long their approval takes is up to them. For MOTORS (with Cazoo and eBay), CarGurus (with PistonHeads) and Gumtree, the back office writes the feed each one asks for, with every car you have not unticked for it. Each portal decides when it starts reading it.
Are vehicle history checks and valuations extra?
Yes. They are not in the monthly: you buy them in packs from inside your dashboard (5 vehicle history checks for £25, 10 vehicle history checks for £50, 100 valuations for £40) and run them against a car without leaving it, and packs do not expire. With none left the lookup stops and says so, and nothing is added to your bill. The detailed vehicle lookups that fill a car in when you add it are in your plan: 60, 150 or 300 a month by tier.
Does it keep the VAT margin scheme stock book?
Yes. Raise the sale invoice and the sold side of that car’s row is written from it: date, invoice number, buyer, price, margin and the VAT on it.
Will I have to type my stock in again?
No, if the system you use now can give you a CSV or Excel file of it. That comes in from Settings, each car with its line in the stock book, and your customers, suppliers and past invoices can come in the same way. Photographs are added to each car from your phone or computer.
Do I own the website and my data?
The website is designed, built and looked after as part of your plan, and after twelve monthly payments it is yours to keep, free, whenever you ask for it. Earlier handover is possible for a fee set out in the terms. The back office and the desktop app stay ours, and you use them while you are a customer. What you put in is yours: your invoices, stock book and paperwork download from Settings at any time, including on the day you leave.
