Local search
SEO for car dealers, aimed at the searches around your forecourt.
The SEO is built for the searches around your forecourt — a town and the kind of car, as well as your own name. What that involves is below, and so is what nobody can promise.
What gets done
A page per car with its own address, title and structured data, so an individual vehicle can be found rather than only the stock list. Pages for the things people search alongside a car — preparation, warranty, finance, part exchange, your rights — written properly rather than padded.
Correct headings, real text instead of claims baked into images, fast pages on a phone, a sitemap, and structured data describing the business, the stock and the vehicles. All of which is the part we control.
What we will not promise
A position. Nobody controls where Google puts a page, so it is not ours to promise.
Where you land depends on your competitors, your reviews and how long the domain has been trading as much as on the build.
And why there is only one of you per area
Because the work is aimed at the same searches every time. Two of our dealers in one town would be our own work competing with itself — one of them has to lose, and both of them are paying us.
One dealer within twenty miles by road, written into the agreement rather than said on a page. It ends when your agreement does.
Moving from an existing site
If you already rank for things, that is an asset, and a careless launch can throw it away. Old addresses are redirected one by one to their closest new equivalent rather than all pointed at the home page, and a sample of them is tested before the switch.
Your domain stays where it is, your email is left alone, and the mail records are copied before anything changes.
Questions
Will I lose my Google ranking when the new site goes live?
We cannot promise your rankings will not move. What the move protects is what your old site has built up: every old address gets a permanent redirect to its closest new page, a sample is tested before the switch, and the new sitemap goes to Google Search Console once the site is live.
Do you do the Google Business Profile as well?
We will tell you exactly what needs to match and where — the name, address, hours and telephone number have to be identical across your site, your profile and the directories, and they usually are not. Fixing those is mostly a morning of admin rather than a service worth charging for.

Don’t worry about switching. We take care of the move: your email stays as it is, every old page is redirected to its new one, and your stock comes in from a file. We also set up the feeds for MOTORS (with Cazoo and eBay), CarGurus (with PistonHeads) and Gumtree, and Auto Trader through your own Auto Trader account, once Auto Trader has approved the connection.
Going live is optional: from £179 a month, including your bespoke website, on a twelve-month minimum.
